Meeting like-minded people on the Mississippi Coast isn't easy for me, so a group like this is very appealing to me.

What Carroll is saying about this Meetup Group
I think if you're not religious, and the hyper-religiosity of American life troubles you at times, this group might be for you. It's a great space for being open about our views, not only on religion, but also politics and current events. Furthermore, everyone in the group expresses the most positive aspects of the atheist outlook, so I find my optimism bolstered by our meetings. Plus, the food's usually pretty good.
