We will have a special Meetup on the 15th of March. Steve could not make the regular meeting on the 8th. From the feedback I received, it seems everyone wants to have our regular Meetup on the 8th, and then come back the next Sunday, March 15, for Steve's presentation.

    •  I'm glad I finally made it to a meet-up. This was a fantastic meeting and Steve did a fantastic job going over his experiences and goals for the future. If anyone believes atheists can't be altruistic, they should meet this man (and everyone else in the group, to boot).
    •  It was great to finally get over to Harmony Hall in Gulfport! Meeting everyone was a special treat and I really appreciate all of the interaction. This was a wonderful opportunity to share concepts and plan for potential events and find ways to build stronger networks among non-believers. I'm impressed. Thanks again for being patient with my schedule. It was very kind of you to make this special exception to your calendar in order to provide me the opportunity to speak my mind on the issues of atheism and humanism here in south Mississippi. See y'all soon! Steve
    •  It was very nice having Steve come in and talk about his life as a non-believer. I agree with him that we need to do more to introduce non-believers as valuable members of the community. For that purpose, identifying with humanism may work better for those who are not comfortable with being associated with atheism. I am also on board with him in being an 'out' atheist if at all possible.
    •  Thank you Mims for facilitating this opportunity to get acquainted with Steve and his efforts to help us be involved in civic affairs.
