2pm Sunday 1 February 09 at El Santillo's, 920 Cedar Lake Road.

Our January meeting, without a suggested discussion topic, had good attendance and interesting discussions. Obama campaign is gone but Harrison County Democratic Executive Committee is holding its 1st Sat 9am meetings at Harmony Hall.
With my other obligations I have neglected the organizer function of answering e-mails and helping members, new and old, to feel at-home with the group. We still need an organizer, or several, who can make this MeetUp group more lively. I will do what I can but we can do better.

Suggested topic to start discussion:

Suggestions? Do we need a suggested topic?
Any other ideas for program? For future meetings?

Potluck, starting at 5pm, was shared with another Meetup group,

http://movies.meetup....,
the Ocean Springs Movie Fanatics.

That group has died for lack of an organizer. Anyone interested in continuing a Gulf Coast cinema interest group? With a wider selection of films?

Just to be sure, is this meetup on a Saturday or a Sunday? Thanks in advance.

Who attended?

  • 4 attendees
    •  Nice Darwin video, good talk, great spaghetti.

We always have a stimulating conversation. I always learn something new. This time in addition we had a video on the "Origin Of Species". It reinforced forgotten knowledge and introduced new. Don
