Julia Sweeney Going Back to Church? Yek!

Thanks to Ruthe's last post, we just learned that Julia Sweeney now considers herself a post atheist and will most likely attend a catholic church near her home, and take her daughter there. Sweeney claims she will attend as an atheist. Her DVD "Letting Go of God" will release this summer, so the members of Scott's DVD parties will have to decide if they really want to watch it. We know that many atheists enjoyed Dogma, whose director, Kevin Smith, is a practicing Catholic. So probably a vote among the members of the DVD group will determine whether we view her or not.Our son considers himself a post atheist, as do many of their friends, and believe us, it does not involve attending any church.
